FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – St. Lawrence NYSARC, a private, non-profit organization committed to maximizing the potential of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will hold the 36th Annual Fund Raiser drawing on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at The Village Green on Main Street in Canton, NY. The certificate drawing will be at 2:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. This year, proceeds will support the purchase of technology to enhance education options for people with disabilities.
An “Early Bird Drawing” was held today and the prize is a circle pendant on a chain valued at over $1000! The pendant was donated by Greg and Brenda Carbino. The winner of this prize is Melanie LaVack of Gouverneur, NY. Ms. LaVack is also still eligible to win one of the other prizes to be drawn on June 4th.
The raffle features a grand prize of $10,000! This year’s other prizes include: a one-week getaway to Lake Ozonia donated by Denice and Dave Button, a sapphire and diamond pendant and necklace donated by Peets Jewelers, a stay and play package donated by Best Western University Inn, Canton and an iPad Air donated by Advanced Business Systems.
